Some people seem to receive it magically, easily and yet we personally struggle in that area or experience delay.

✏๐Ÿ“ Your Homework: ๐Ÿ“✏

๐Ÿ“ŒFor the thing(s) or area where you experience more delay or resistance in getting what you want - notice, observe your thoughts.

๐Ÿ“ŒIdentify how some might be limiting, resistant or fearful thoughts beliefs. Notice that these may be habitual, practiced thoughts. This is your inner work.

๐Ÿ“ŒThen, CREATE NEW THOUGHTS, or affirmations.  Come up with 3-5 new thoughts that are uplifting, positive, empowering, forward moving, with "towards" language- that is state what/how you want it to be. Avoid negative language in your new thoughts.

๐Ÿ“ŒWrite them down and read them to yourself. Repeat 3 times daily morning, noon & night.

Reacting to Bad News with Control & Wisdom - Personal Power Life Coaching

This Life Coaching video is designed to help you cope & handle “Bad News” resourcefully.

  • Have you ever received "Bad news"?
  • Can we react to and handle Bad News with Control & Wisdom?๐Ÿ’ญ

We all go through moments in life where we receive “bad” or negative news. Things don’t go our way, a loved one has a health concern, a layoff, a break-up, unpleasant coworker, or any similar situation.
These experiences can feel powerful and grip our attention as something vitally important. As such, our inner wisdom guides us to engage with all of life’s situations and this is where your Personal Power needs to be activated.

Here are some Key Concepts on how to engage with such situations for the greatest wellbeing possible given the circumstances:

Adopt a new mantra: Mantra of the Moment =

WAIT & SEE

  • Powerful Questions
    • Are you feeling emotional?
    • What emotions are you feeling? Breathe into these feelings; this breathing PAUSE helps you re-center and avert rash behavior.
    • Are you making assumptions?
    • What are the FACTS?
    • Do you need to wait for more information, data or do some research and investigate further?
    • Do you need to take immediate action? If yes, then realize this is your new OUTCOME or AIM/GOAL/OBJECTIVE.
      • Identify your new outcome and align with it in to take the best course of action.
  • Tip: Hold off before making a conclusion...
  • Tip: It is not very helpful to assume without concrete evidence or facts as your thoughts will be based on the unreal.
NLP Presupposition: THE PERSON WITH THE MOST FLEXIBILITY CONTROLS THE SYSTEM

✰ Recognize that you are upset or disturbed because “it” doesn’t meet your Map of Reality or match your expectations (what if you modified your expectations or Map of Reality?)
✰ Gather your facts; do research.
✰ Wait for the results or for further confirmed details, evidence. Once you have the concrete data you can shift focus onto what you can do, your new outcome (i.e. What do you now want given the information at hand?
✰ Bring yourself into the present moment (Take at least 3 deep, mindful breaths while closing your eyes)
✰ Wait before jumping to Assumptions & Conclusions
✰ Pause before any hasty actions or sudden reactionary behavior
✰ Acknowledge your emotions however do your very best to not identify with them. Give your feelings the space required however avoid impulsive actions based on immediate emotional reactions as these tend to be more dramatic, intense and changeable.
✰ Remember kindness - to yourself. This means not being harsh or judgmental on yourself or others as this only facilitates more troublesome emotions and thought pathways. Be nice to yourself.

It main seem difficult in the moment to remember these ideas, however, you can do this.

An excellent way to develop better coping mechanisms in life overall is to develop a regular Meditation practice & connecting deeply with your Higher Power.

Why is Meditation so useful and germane in this regard? Because Meditation enhances your presence, consciousness and awareness - which is about bringing concentration into the present moment and bringing your powerful mind into focus and calming it down from the raging rivers of thoughts and feelings. Meditating on a regular basis will help you bring more peace into your inner world; it enhances self-control, poise, inner clarity and presence.

Meditation helps us overcome impulsive and reactionary behavior and helps you become Master of your Self rather than a helpless victim of feelings. Feelings are fleeting, mercurial and fluctuating, and life consistently reveals itself be defined by its diverse and changing currents no matter who you are. So let us use this knowledge to our advantage, let us work with this mutable energy, let us flow with the wisdom of life and our Creator, and allow more aligned living, thinking, and wellbeing. You are meant to be happy, and you deserve the most joyful life you can imagine and even more! :-)

May we allow the wisdom and love of Spirit to permeate our minds, hearts and souls.

Valuable Tips: Eating Out & Sticking to your Eating Plan - Stay On Track & Succeed!

We've all been there. You're on your eating plan and doing well. Food prep is going smoothly, you are hitting your daily targets and feeling motivated. And then we receive invitations to dine out and you're wanting to join.
What to do when you feel that you may veer off of your plan and possibly sabotage your goals?

Dining out can be pleasant and satisfying, and you can honor your eating plan if we follow some clear parameters to keep us on track.

Here are some tips and ideas to help all of us who are following a diet or healthy eating plan (clean eating) and are dining out.

Earlier on the same day or 1 day in advance:

  • Review the menu in advance – Check out the menu online if possible and assess which is the best dish for you.
  • Plan/Strategize Ahead - Plan out your meals and caloric distribution for the day so that you can identify how much you will budget for dinner. Chances are the dinner (meal X) will be higher in calories even when you estimate and will likely contain more fat than you can accurately estimate. This is especially true since it's not entirely feasible to weight your food at the dinner table.

Psychological, Mental & Emotional Preparation is key:

Prepare yourself mentally and emotionally - Set yourself up for success with Positive Vibes in advance.

Decide in advance of sitting at the table on how you want to feel. Example talk to self

  • "By the end of the dinner I want to feel light and satisfied, I want to feel good, proud of myself, I want to enjoy the company of other diners. I want to appreciate this special moment and opportunity to take in fine food."
  • "I want to eat well and make healthy choices that are aligned with my health, wellness and fitness goals.
  • I trust myself to make the best possible choices knowing what I know about good food selections. I can do this. I trust myself to make the very best, ideal choices for myself tonight. It's going to be OK. I'm going to be fine. It's alright and I feel good about this new experience. I've got this and I can do it. Most importantly, I WANT this and I believe in myself.
  • I am my own partner on this wellness, health, fitness journey. I trust myself! I love myself and I can do this. It’s going to be fine.

When seated at the table & you’re ready to order: This is where your power lies.

Make savvy choices when you ready to order. Here are some pointers that can support you in more easily and effortlessly making the best choices aligned with your goals:

  • Simply ASK for what you want - Inform the waiter directly: "You know, I'm really careful with my nutrition. Can you please recommend the lightest or "healthy" dish available tonight? That with the most veggies and least oil/fat? The waiters typically know which dishes the restaurant would rate at on the 'healthier' side.
  • Salads - Look at the salad options and if it’s enough for a main course, pick the salad. Request dressing on the side which includes oils. If there is a protein, ask how it is prepared to avoid inadvertently ordering fried options. Ask for grilled, steamed or boiled options (same for the vegetables).
  • Appetizers - Try to avoid appetizers since these are normally small bites packed with loads of fat and calories but which will not fill you up as you will then have a Main Course (correct?)
  • Inquire on the Cooking Method - Request grilled, boiled, smoked, or steamed options. Bypass the sautรฉed, fried, deep-fried, pan-fried, seared, buttered, breaded or such ‘rich’ sounding dishes. The restaurant will typically be generous with the oils/butter they use when preparing their dishes and this is true from simple restaurant to 5-star cuisine.
  • Request grilled or steamed with little to no butter/oil. Mention, if need be, that you are allergic to excess oil/butter.
  • No Fried Anything - Be wary of and avoid dishes that are deep-fried, or with a complicated-sounding sauce, especially because sauces are made with fine ingredients like butter, oil, cream, milk, etc.
  • Sauces/Dressings - Request all sauces and dressing on the side so you can then control the amount you decide to ingest. You can sample the sauces, and thus not deprive yourself, by using the Teaspoon as a measuring tool.
  • Avoid dessert. You do not really need it, do you? If you can exercise self-control then only take in 1-2 bites and call it a day. Desserts will be energy-rich no matter how you slice it and any dessert can easily add 100-500 extra calories, unless you choose simple fruits (without creams, sauces, or other accouterments, etc) - bear this in mind!
You made it through the main course making healthy, mindful options; don't squander your excellent effort by consuming excess calories at the very end. Furthermore, if this is dinner remind yourself that desserts are pure sugar; large quantities of sugar consumed at night will have you buzzing with energy the rest of the night and thus interfere with getting deep and restful sleep.

  • Alcohol – Alcohol/Spirits contains calories and carbs (sugar) and thus you may want to restrict this particular item from the evening. Beer can cause bloating which you probably don't  want to feel after eating. However, if you absolutely feel obliged due to social/professional pressures, then go for 1 glass of red wine which is easy to account for and contains some positive qualities such as resveratrol which is an antioxidant (antioxidants reduce oxidative damage in the body). However, bear in mind that there are many mixed evaluations on the need to drink wine for its health benefits. You can obtain antioxidants through fresh fruits such as berries.

When you receive your food; the process of eating itself.

You still have the power to:

  • Bless your food and thank life for having it available here and now to nourish your body.
  • Infuse your food with positive vibes and trust that it will only have positive, desired, beneficial effects on your fantastic, special and unique body.
  • Pace yourself whilst eating; take slow and deliberate bites. No need to rush because if you eat too fast and finish before others you may feel compelled to eat even more food such as bread or any leftover appetizers still on the table.
  • Savor each bite. Detect the variety of favors. Appreciate the food that you are eating and its preparation.
  • Appreciate the different food components - spices, ingredients, etc -  all the more if you are dining in an elegant, refined restaurant with a noteworthy chef and top-notch cuisine.
  • Engage in conversation with other diners so you enjoy their company and also give your stomach enough time to process the food being ingested.

Finally, may we always appreciate that one meal will not make or break our ultimate success. Overeating in one meal can leave you a bit puffier and bloated for the next day, or feeling mental fogginess if you've eating something completely off of your plan.

The most important thing is to realize that it's about the habits and actions we are taking on a daily, consistent basis. How are you eating every day at each meal? Are you being true to your plan and thus aligned with your goals and vision?

When it comes to eating out perfectionism usually jumps out the window. Rather, it's about eating as close to ideally as we possibly can. The more you practice and experience what works for you, your own psychology, your own triggers and your own strengths and weaknesses, you become a more skilled eating-out diner.

For those of you who must constantly eat out for business and social reasons, then you will definitely want to be more strict (dare I say militant) about your nutrition and eating with the above ideas in mind.

Practice, reassess and see how your progress goes. And if eating out if really complicated for you then do not do it as much - you can always say no and meet you friends and others within another context that does not revolve around food.

Wishing you the greatest health and wellness!
Jennifer

Note to God: Weaving Wisdom Out of Pain (Post written on: Oct 21, 2015)

Post written: Oct 21, 2015, and for whatever reason I kept it as a draft until now.

Themes: Finding the positive outcome of painful experiences; choosing thoughts deliberately empowering yourself through self-awareness; giving yourself time to heal and allowing time for the processes of life to happen organically; releasing pain from the past; moving forward in your life.

Dear God,

I have asked you, the Universe/God, this morning, out of curiosity and because I would love to use this as a moment of learning and even deeper clarity and well-being: what is the meaning and reason behind my little shin cut from Friday afternoon? It happened so suddenly, mindlessly and pointlessly. Ridiculous! I’d like to better understand and fully absorb, in the most resourceful way possible, what this means and what are you trying to tell me through it?
Nothing happens in vain; everything has a reason for being and for happening.

First thoughts:

Realization of how much I don’t want to feel hurt or pain. It feels so OFF to be hurt physically. I don’t want a single hair on my body to be hurt or injured.  I extrapolate this one step further – I can also hurt myself not physically but in other ways – emotionally and with my thoughts. This type of self-inflicted pain (I was stretching but without paying much attention to where my feet were placed).

Pain is not only physical - it can be generated from within with the THOUGHTS we think.

Hurtful thoughts are ones that lower our mood, deflate our spirit and bring us down.
If they are thought on a consistent basis they can turn into resistance (manifested through ailments and low energy) and can hold us back and away from moving closer towards our goals and desires. It is like creating a roadway deviation or an accident which then creates a traffic jam and thus slows you down on the road to achieving your dream. Nonetheless, there is still always hope because this implies that you are still on your way to your destination (Feelgood-Ville) however, moving more slowly and possibly even feeling other un-resourceful emotions now such as frustration, doubt, and fatigue.

You and I, we can always turn such thoughts around. We can question them, we can shed light on them rather than ignoring and planting them deeper in our psyche. We can bring them to the surface like picking a ripe tomato and analyzing it. If it's a rotten tomato - let it go! Throw it away! Free yourself of all the rotten tomatoes in your life and you will only ever need to eat delicious, fresh, organic, plump and nutrition tomatoes :-) i.e. you will only ever need to focus on and entertain beautiful, uplifting, positive and empowering thoughts.

Moral of the story:

Choose predominantly and then chronically, exclusively powerful, empowering, resourceful, loving thoughts.

Thoughts that move you closer to what you want and desire. Take the faster road, traffic-free and unencumbered, to reach your desired destination, and also notice that you enjoy the journey more because you are flowing, driving at your desired speed, possibly enjoying a beautiful, spectacular scenery! If you have not been used to being mindful or aware of your thoughts, then perhaps now is the time to start. No better time like the present. All we truly have is this moment right NOW. What are you thinking right now? What are you habitually thinking? How are you thinking your thoughts? How are you interpreting your experiences? And subsequently, what meaning are you giving to all these experiences?

Increased Thoughts Awareness:
As you begin to pay more attention to how and what you are thinking, you can decide deliberately, consciously, eagerly what thoughts will help you feel better and move you closer to what you want.
  • Key Question: What do you want to feel? What do you want to think?
  • Stop the negativity, stop the self-criticism, stop the comparisons to others, stop the self-doubting, the hesitations; stop the judgments, criticism and fault-finding.
  • You are GOOD, you are PERFECT, you are all that is so make peace with it, embrace it and know with all your heart that embracing things as they already are will not hold you away from what you want and all you ARE becoming.

Allow the Healing Process. Life Does Go On!

Healing takes time and progression; there is a certain order to things that we cannot micromanage. As with the external, so with the inner healing. Whenever we experience internal emotional pain we need to fully acknowledge and appreciate that there is a grieving process and then a healing process (the more significant or deeper the hurt, the longer or more delicate the healing is required). Do you allow yourself to grieve and heal properly?

Sometimes we don’t properly grieve & heal because it is too much to handle and too painful. We want to be strong rather than ‘weak’, or we simply don't want the hurt feeling. Unfortunately, this does not make the emotional hurt disappear. Rather it remains embedded in the psyche as recurring thoughts, attitude, or expectations. If you want to move forward in your life and release past hurts, acknowledgement and proper healing is essential.

A bruise or cut needs to be treated and allowed time and space to repair - blood has to clot, new cells have to form, old cells slowly begin to harden forming a thin layer of old dead skin cells…then it becomes itchy until eventually the scab comes off. At this point there is vulnerable, virgin skin beneath that is exposed.

That patch of skin won’t ever look the same; however it will be brand new, repaired and no longer hurting. Soon you forget about it and go about your daily life as if nothing happened. You only remember if you bring your attention to it. You realize that the injury is quite inconsequential in the big scheme of your life for other things have come to pass and now take your attention.

This is the magnificent blessing and gift in the pain. The fact that life goes on, feelings pass, healing happens, and new things will take its place. You feel happy once again!

Rejoice!  All is well. :-)

Balancing a Huge Appetite - Not having it all (right now) is good!

This morning I made a brief video on Having a Huge Appetite in Life (or For Life) following an insightful "Cheat Meal" this weekend. :-)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAq1QiF00RA
Huge Appetites in Life - Not having all right now is good too!

Basically, I was at Pain Quotidien and while I had been giddily prepared to enjoy a delightful, decadent, delicious Banana-Oatmeal Bar (i.e. cake), once I got there and witnessed the incredibly vast cornucopia of pastries I realized that I wanted to try more than one; in fact, I wanted to try all of them! Oh my.

There I was beholding all these magnificent, colorful, fun-looking treats, and it was the day that I could have it, soon to be followed by my workout. I felt a yearning to savor them all and yet I knew I would not and that this is not practical or beneficial from multiple perspectives.

I ended up just having the treat I had originally planned on and a mocha-coffee, which is another indulgence since it is sugary and containing dairy.

I have a strong feeling you've been there :-).

In that moment I felt like I had a huge appetite, and what I realized on a deeper level is that perhaps this also reflects a huge appetite in life; the desire to enjoy and savor the various delights that life has to offer. I didn't want to miss out, and I wanted to make full use of this 'window of opportunity'.

A Key Insight

The valuable learning that morning is that just as we can have a desire to eat many things in one go, we also ask for various great things in life and want them all to happen now, at the same time.

Sometimes it is better that we do not receive everything we think we want at once, because doing so would overload our system (i.e. Life).  You have personal experience with this already - just remember those times when it seemed that everything was happening to you at the same time - e.g. changing homes + career change + relationship changes, etc. It either all worked out simultaneously or "it all came crashing down".

Back to the buffet analogy...
Now imagine that you did indeed eat everything you wanted from that marvelous buffet without regard for moderation and temperance...what is the outcome? Overindulgence typically results in physical discomfort, indigestion, regret, lethargy and even confusion!

In the same way that eating everything at a buffet in one fell swoop would cause indigestion, internal blockage, and physical discomfort, having everything we want in life at the same time can generate "blockage" and resistance in our ability to absorb it and appreciate it all.

Just like our digestive system has a certain pace for nutrient absorption and digestion, our physical life experience aka 'system' has a certain rate at which it can feasibly absorb certain life experiences.

So as you stand before the buffet of life beholding all the things that you want to savor, which item(s) are already on your plate?

Are you too busy eyeing the desert, or the other dishes you aren't eating (not yet)?

Are you able to appreciate the robustness and inherent greatness of your already-in-your-hands juicy main course rather than thinking about the things you cannot have?

This brings us nicely to the wonderful notion of being fully present, mindfulness, living consciously, and choosing deliberately. Living in the Now.
When we choose to be more mindful, centered and focused on the task or opportunity at hand, we can more fully delight in it and feel more satisfied with what we do/can have instead of lamenting what is not.

Bear in mind also:
We can have it all just not necessarily at the same time.

We can pace ourselves, we can gauge how we are doing and advancing along in life - you can assess where you are in your personal development and life journey. Sometimes we ask for things but we are not yet ready to receive them.

Be Ready & Timing

Readiness is required for everything that comes our way and that we want to experience. The digestive system primes itself to optimally absorb incoming food by releasing enzymes and gastric juices. Certain life experiences also necessitate that we be prepared in multiple ways: emotionally, financially, professionally, socially, time-wise and more.

If there are things you are wanting that have not yet materialized it might be because your overall life system is not primed for those changes. However, it can and will happen in the future because you can choose to make yourself ready by deciding what you want to add to your life and being cognizant of what these new additions will entail.

Just as we can offset eating an extra donut by eating light the remainder of the day, we are required to balance the scale of our life's parts so that all the parts fit harmoniously for the optimal life experience - as far as we can influence things.

Every person's journey is individual and thus it serves us not to compare against others. Some people have a higher metabolism, or they are taller, or have more muscle mass, etc. Everyone is walking their own path in their own unique way.

The value is in evaluating where you are personally and how you are doing; be honest with yourself about what you want and how much you're ready change the status quo.

Have you ever noticed that you immediately lose interest on the treats once you'd had more than your fill. Balance is key.

There may be in intangible wisdom to life's timing and when things happen.

We receive when we are ready to receive - and when it happens, that will be the 'right time'.

The Path of Least Resistance - Video & Life Coaching

April 7, 2015:

Today's Video

On today's video of Path of Least Resistance (PLR) - http://youtu.be/YfYNsO_pf1k

I invite you to consider how it feels to ask yourself "What is the path of least resistance?" whenever we are faced with making a decision or in a situation that generates some blockage, challenge or resistance.

Once you've asked the question you can then identify how you want to feel as a result of the decision - What decision would make my life easier? What (would) make me feel better? What is the easiest course of action that will get me where I need to be? Shift my State to a more resourceful one.

Moving forward, I'd like to make a subsequent video focusing on how these decisions fit into the bigger scheme of your life. In Coaching this means "Checking Ecology" i.e. How the decision fits from a practical day-to-day perspective (how feasible is it in real  life) and also within the wider scheme of your life.

More often than not any decision you take will fit within a broader context. Here are some examples of typical situations:
  • Work Example - The bigger picture is one's overall, overarching career goals, work performance and personal happiness. How does the particular decision fit with your professional, career, self-development and financial goals?
    • Is the Path of Least Resistance to avoid and procrastinate a given project, and then eventually get stressed and rush to finish at the last minute? OR, is it to break the project down into parts and then gradually finishing in time with minimal stress?

  • Getting stuck in traffic - The bigger picture is you want to reach home safely, low stress, in good spirits, and have an enjoyable night.
    • Assuming taking another route is not feasible, is the Path of Least Resistance to make peace with where you are and make the current conditions as enjoyable as possible? i.e. play fun music, listen to an audio book, call a friend or family member, think about what great things happened in your day and what you are grateful for

  • Relationship/Social - Someone (a friend, romantic partner, etc.) walks out of your life and despite your efforts it just didn't work out. Or perhaps there is someone who for whatever reason does not like you.
    • The bigger picture is that you enjoy and want healthy, happy, harmonious relationships and you also value and appreciate yourself (Ask yourself if this is true for you. If does not feel true for you then there may be a deeper underlying Limiting Belief on your own value and worth). So then how does this situation and potential course of action fit into your overall aim of having happy, healthy and harmonious relationships?
    • Is the Least Resistance to just allow and accept this has happened? Or, is it to continue thinking over the issue wondering why it didn't work, where it went wrong and what you could've done differently, or if you should try further?

Sometimes the greatest difficulty is LETTING GO.

The course of action taken upon asking "What is the path of least resistance?" is intended to facilitate and help you come into better alignment and focus with the overarching goals you have in the given area of your life.

This brings up why it's valuable to have a longer view of one's own goals and overall priorities.
Why?
Because when we have clarity on our values, priorities and overarching personal/life objectives, we can better understand which decisions and actions while align and beneficially contribute to and support those overarching values, priorities and goals.

Why does this matter?

This matters because it reflects Congruence, Internal Alignment, and personal satisfaction for the life we are living and the way life is evolving.

Gratitude

I am so grateful for today's insightful and fun video on "The Path of Least Resistance" and that I  have contributed to my community in this manner.
I'm really happy with the way things are evolving.
I'm really enjoying the creation process, the self-expression and expansion; sharing overall, the thoughts, ideas, development. Contributing positively into this marvelous universe.

Why High Expectations are Powerfully Good - Merry Christmas!

Good morning, beautiful world, beautiful life,

- Beautiful Expectations -

They say [who is they? ;-)] we should have low expectations to avoid being disappointed when a given situation, person or reality does not match up to our expectations.

However, I personally love having high expectations and to anticipate the best possible. It makes me feel grand, it reminds me of God's greatness, that there is abundance of possibilities and of my self-worth. It reminds me that I deserve the best I can imagine. If I can see it with my mind's eye, I can generate it in this time-space reality. I think Earl Nightingale was the first to state this in "The Strangest Secret." Listening to this text was the catalyst to transform and improve my life into a more magical, creative, powerful and fulfilling life experience [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaHDCcUcmc0].

High expectations strikes me as striving for excellence, seeking to fulfill the great human potential which is already untapped as it is. It feels like aiming for the stars, being your greatest self and coming closer the fullest expression of God and the Universal greatness for generation and creation.

On this special day of gratitude, joy and love, I've been noticing several manifestations of high vibration. Just when you let go and let God, without controlling the circumstances can you experience the realization of a desired object.

It seems like sometimes, in some cases, the key is to let go, be easy with it and let the course of life take over. We don't have to oversee or manage all the elements, all the time, in all sectors of our life. We can only do our best and for me, I ask for the wisdom and accurate intuition to know when to take action and when to step back and take it easy.

Here is an NLP Exercise for you:

Take a look back on your daily life experience. Begin to take stock of all the moments when you have been pleasantly surprised, when you have received something nice that you weren't expecting, or you were expecting X and it manifested even better than you anticipated.  For instance, you turn the faucet and water gushes out, or you put the key in the car ignition and the car purrs awake, or you turn the stove on and soon enough you're cooking up a meal. Countless things in our daily life that easily work; without thinking much or at all, you expected something (through habit) and received it immediately.  We just forget this happens.

The power of this exercise lies in amplying this expectation to other moments when you expected something - perhaps a successful meeting, a party you would enjoy, or a meal with friends you'd delight in, or a trip home to see your family - these are on a larger scale and there is also a positive expectation it would/will happen.

Take it one step further and extend the expectation, possibly to reaping more financial abundance,  love-filled relationships and friendships, better feelings more of the time.

Put all these moments, memories and future visualizations into a glass container.
The container started out small and as you raised the level of experiences and expectations the container perforce expanded, grew taller, wider and more robust.

Notice how this magically robust container is now overflowing, its contents diverse and widespread, touching on all 5 senses and the spiritual, emotional, physical, financial, professional, romantic, relational, educational, etc.

This is your container. Notice how all these expectations have built on each other and are synergistic, swirling in this amazing, sturdy and ever expanding vessel. A veritable forcefield.

Consider how all these expectations are REAL and authentic; they have really happened. Don't they remind you that you have always received more than you expected?
And doesn't it indicate it will continue to be so? You have not conscientiously applied yourself to create these moments and yet they have always been the case. Let your subconscious appreciate this.

There is more momentum in this growing vessel; a life of its own, guided by universal forces and energy.

It must be so.

Keep adding to your vessel, notice what is happening right now in your life - everything that's going right - that is part of your mega container.

Augment the expectations and they, too, will join this attractive and powerful forcefield.

Consider how your life would be different moving forward if you continue to raise your expectations, knowing that you do indeed get what you expect?

Sky's the limit.

Happy Holidays!!! Peace & Blessings xx
i love you all <3
God bless xoxo

My Life Is All About Me - Self-Esteem

 Aloha! :-)

Lighthearted morning thoughts for self-esteem:

Captain of my soul, captain of my ship, captain of my life.

I can hardly wait for the next turn, something wonderful is awaiting me.

"Wherever you go, go with all your heart."  —Confucius

I nourish the universe and the universe nourishes me.

I am the center of my universe. I am my own point of attraction. I am a creator and co-creator. I am divinely inspired.

Many of the above thoughts and reflections are borrowed from Abraham Hicks either verbatum or in summarized fashion, and I've also been inspired today by Deepak Chopra's 21-Day Meditation Challenge. Their messages are really beautiful and poignant; I recommend listening to them if you make some time.

As I was walking back home this morning from the gym something dawned on me...I understood that despite my attempts and desire to deeply connect with a partner and give my love to another, in the end, life keeps pointing me in a particular direction...Directing me towards myself.

That I should take the chance of this life and these somewhat formative years of my life to focus on my self-development and to do things for my own sake rather than being inspired by the love and passion that could be felt for and triggered by a romantic partner. For so long, I have not  explored deeply and consciously the things that make me happy and that feel fun to my inner child. It almost feels like living on standby "Adult person" mode, in a slight sense yet not completely.

In the past few weeks and months, I've been on a journey to understand and identify the things that give me joy, fun, happiness and satisfaction. This journey got kick-started by the end of a relationship, which is pretty standard. In terms of experiencing great fun, a big chunk of it is through exercise, for sure! I love to dance and take any opportunity at the gym studio after the weight session. I love being outdoors in nature and pampering myself. A key ingredient that is vital for my happiness is to feel like I have vibrant, warm friendships with kind, warm and well-meaning, like-minded friends. Relationships are probably at the top of my list, and the very top one and most crucial is the relationship I have with myself.

The experience of being a single woman, living alone overseas and being completely independent has clarified to me that I want and need to be my own best friend, to always support myself and have my back. I can always count on me and I can always look to myself for guidance and answers. I am that strong. We all are, deep inside.

I think that if any of us were to look back over the course of our lives so far we would appreciate that through thick and thin, through all the hardships, victories and obstacles, you have always been the constant. The one person that has ALWAYS been there - even when feeling depression, even feeling sadness and then of course in joy, happiness, bliss, passion, eagerness and excitement for things - that person has always been YOU. You have always been present and in attendance no matter what the occasion of your life. That is a constant and it will remain this way forevermore.

Isn't it wonderfully great to acknowledge and feel this truth, unmistakably and undeniably?

Beautiful wisdom. Soulful and helpful.
