Hello lovely Friends!

WORKING WITH YOUR BELIEFS aka THOUGHTS TO REALIZE YOUR GREATEST SELF

๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ•Š๐ŸŒž
Personal Power at its best!

♾♾♾

Could it be that some of your practiced thoughts or beliefs are keeping back the things you've been asking for?
We all have desires, wishes, dreams however some seem to take so much longer to materialize. Why is that?

Some people seem to receive it magically, easily and yet we personally struggle in that area or experience delay.
Well, possibly it is due to the beliefs we have.

Today's Empowerment Card Reading Video centers in on BELIEFS and how these are actually thoughts you keep thinking.

✏๐Ÿ“ Your Homework: ๐Ÿ“✏

๐Ÿ“ŒFor the thing(s) or area where you experience more delay or resistance in getting what you want - notice, observe your thoughts.

๐Ÿ“ŒIdentify how some might be limiting, resistant or fearful thoughts beliefs. Notice that these may be habitual, practiced thoughts. This is your inner work.

๐Ÿ“ŒThen, CREATE NEW THOUGHTS, or affirmations.  Come up with 3-5 new thoughts that are uplifting, positive, empowering, forward moving, with "towards" language- that is state what/how you want it to be. Avoid negative language in your new thoughts.

๐Ÿ“ŒWrite them down and read them to yourself. Repeat 3 times daily morning, noon & night.

๐Ÿ“ŒKeep it to yourself till you feel secure - although you don't need to tell anyone at all. This is Your INNER WORK.

Keep thinking the new thoughts and embrace your worthiness.
You deserve to be happy! You are worthy of your heart's desires. Just BELIEVE ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ™.

Compassion & Self-Realization - Compassion for Self-Empowerment

๐ŸŒธ COMPASSION & SELF-REALIZATION ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ•Š

What does compassion mean to you and how do you relate to this word personally? This quality can play an extremely powerful role in your life, helping you to live a happier, more fulfilling life. ๐Ÿ•Š

Today's Personal Power Life Coaching discusses this relevant topic:

According to Merriam-Webster dictionary: "Compassion = sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it".

It is a feeling of kindness, active sympathy, benevolence, being kind-hearted, and understanding. In buddhism it is considered one of the 2 qualities (Wisdom + Compassion) that must be developed to realize enlightenment: Compassion - “The ideal of practice is to selflessly act to alleviate suffering wherever it appears” [http://buddhism.about.com/…/basicbuddhistt…/a/compassion.htm].
๐Ÿ•Š
Compassion is an important quality for us to embrace not simply because Buddha, Patanjali, the Dalai Lama or another great sage said so. It comes down to the basic quality and feature of living humanely, lovingly and with heart in this world. We can also begin understanding Compassion by knowing its opposite - heartlessness, selfishness, egotism, despotism, cruelty, harshness, hate, intolerance.
๐Ÿ’ฎ
One of the effects of compassion is that we adopt a more “unity” and “oneness” consciousness or mindset. That is, when we practice compassion and are mindful of it in our lives we are empathetic to others’ plights and tribulations and appreciate that what can happen to another could very well happen to us. We open our heart, communicate sincerely, with integrity and live with more love, light, joy, ease and wellbeing. We feel deeper gratitude for our life and see many more of our blessings; we realize there are others less fortunate and that we can help in any small way without necessarily needing to take physical action. We can be compassionate when we simply project love and positive energy through thoughts, intentions and wishes towards XYZ.

These realizations ground us (down-to-earth) and bring us closer to the univeral, timeless Truth of being a part of the shared human collective - we are One, instead of one person, nation or group being superior or inferior. We are all human beings and we are going through the human life experience together and individually; no one is better than another person nor beneath anyone else. We are all one people, one race and all experience the same basic human needs to exist and coexist.

๐Ÿ˜ How can you practice more compassion in your daily life? 3 Helpful Tips:

  1. ๐Ÿณ Be Aware, Open Your Eyes - We can start by awareness of what is compassionate and what it is not. What does it mean to you?๐ŸณLook around you: Your environment, home, workplace, relationships, how others interact and notice where there is an opportunity to be compassionate, kind, caring, helpful or understanding. Often times, people use ‘being nice’, empathetic, sympathetic as synonyms for ‘compassion’.
  2. ๐Ÿณ Self-Compassion - Be compassionate with/towards yourself, and then towards others. This means not judging yourself or being hard on yourself. Throw perfectionism out the window and celebrate the good work you are doing and the positive steps you are taking. Appreciate how far you’ve come along your own journey and the several ways you have changed for the better, and even if you cannot find too many ways that you’ve improved then acknowledge your willingness to do better and be a better person than you were yesterday. You always have the chance to change and you can do so with your intention and the empowering energy of self-compassion.
  3. ๐Ÿณ Compassion Towards Others - Consider extending to others the benefit of the doubt rather than jumping to negative conclusions. Avoid criticizing or judging others. Understand that they are going through their own journeys and are doing the best they can. There is one NLP Presupposition summed up as follows: “People make the best choices possible with the information and resources available.” Although we might be inclined or habituated to judging someone else’s behavior, weakness, attitudes, or whatever other aspect you disagree with, we can practice compassion by understanding that they are doing the best they can, perhaps they do not know any better way and this is the utmost they can do at this time.

Practicing Compassion is incredibly important in today’s day and age - both for individual wellbeing and society at large.

Given our global societies evolving and industrializing at faster and faster rates there is more automation, computerization and more sources of immediate gratification and short attention spans. Our amazing technological progress has enhanced convenience in our lives yet it has also generated some degree of being dissociated and numb to real tragedy, violence and suffering around the world and in our local communities. The more we are exposed to “fake suffering” through movies, TV shows, commercials, video games, music and mass media overall the more sensational it is (violence, suffering, etc.) the more it serves as entertainment; as some become desensitized, there is less impact when real calamity occurs and thus people are unable to actually be the compassionate beings we are by nature. As to whether Compassion is inate or not, we need only look to the babies, and we too we once these same beings - kind, gentle, innocent, compassionate beings who can continue evolving as such when given the opportunities to grow up safe, positive, nurturing environments.

By practicing feelings of kindness, love, understanding, patience, and giving others the benefit of the doubt, we cultivate more wellbeing within us and then we can extend it others. Alternatively, if you have a hard time loving yourself and are your own worst critic yet easily feel compassion for others, then nurture the quality you extend to others and direct those loving, positive, warm vibes towards yourself! You deserve your own love. Indeed, this is fundamental to living your greatest, most joyous life possible. It starts with awareness and compassion.

Yoga Philosophy Notes: Negative Energies Want Attention, They Are Not You, They Want to Return to Love & Light

Yoga Philosophy - Notes for Yoga Teachers Training

Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016

Today was an extremely inspiring, enriching and soulful day at Yoga Teachers Training. We had 1 hour of the Sunshine lecture and a whole afternoon, 4 hours-worth, dedicated to yoga anatomy and experiential yoga poses for fine-tuning and improvements.

Today's philosophy lecture was by far one of my favorite to date. Here are some of the main points that caught my/Inner Being's attention :-)  -

  • All thoughts, or thought forms, are actually energy and entities. For example, the idea or concept of the mythic, timeless The Devil is an entity and a person can choose identify with it by giving it attention, imbuing it with the power or ability to cause a certain unwanted behavior or weakness.

When you think about it The Devil itself is but two words, (1) The + (2) Devil, and conveys an idea, quality and entity, yet it is not an actual person. Rather, various traditions, faiths and global society over hundreds of years has kept this entity well and alive as it embodies various aspects the human condition and life experience which is captured very well, concisely and richly by a single word and image.

  • We can empower ourselves and must do so, today more than ever as these are pivotal, energetically-charged times, by controlling our relation to the energy, or thought forms, or entities. i.e. Effectively controlling how we relate the various entities we individually experience in our lives.
  • Balance is key - It is important to cultivate even more peace in our lives by finding out (discovering) what entities or energy fields we have created in our lives. There are useful, helpful, beneficial energies and then others that do not serve our highest good and thus, the latter energies are the ones that we are inspired to identify and then release.
  • Once you study which energies or entities do not serve you it is important to realize those feelings or entities/energies are not you. In other words, do not identify your Self with those attitudes. Rather see them objectively as aspects that are outside of you and which you can scrutinize, manage and control. Look at these as separate from you and this will give you more control.
  • For these energies/entities/aspects that you now want to release, ask them to leave you and let go with love and compassion.
    • Examples of entities/energies or fears that one could want to release (once you've identified them as limiting aspects): fear, insecurity, self-doubt, judgment, criticism of self and/or others, anger, depression, indecision, possessiveness, jealousy, over-controlling, addiction of X, etc.
  • These entities or energies as simply aspects of the Self and they are Fragments which now need to be re-integrated into the Soul Self. These negative energies need to be transmuted and sent back to the light. In fact, these energies simply want attention. Hence, when they emerge in your life during the day or week or months, or at any given moment, recognize that this is an aspect that is not You however it's an energy that wants acknowledgement. So then acknowledge it and then immediately release this stagnant energy to the Love & Light.
  • Take positive measure with each and every one of them.
  • Any negative feeling you have is asking for attention to go back to The Light
  • Once you are releasing the undesired energies/entities to the Light and free your energetic space or aura to cultivate the positive/desired, you create a force field around you that repels the darkness and allows/supports/nourishes/invites all that is compatible - i.e. the Love and Light and Joy.
  • Say your prayers to release the energies and then let them go; no need to supplicate repeatedly - God hears us the first time :-).
  • Self-Empowerment is actively taking control of your life.
  • Know that Your/My desire is strong enough to remove what's not in my highest good. Empowerment, self-mastery, enlightenment is gradual, progressive and slow - take it easy and one day at a times. It's all about the journey and the process so enjoy it.
  • Joyfully take part in what you want to create in life. You are a co-creator and you can choose integration with Light, Love & Joy.

Positive Empowering Affirmations

I choose to be Whole, Integrated and Aligned with my Full Power, my Soul Self and that which is my greatest potential and full power. I invite all good and joyful things into my life here and now!

  • The purpose of my life is self-realization and I am taking positive steps every day towards this end and I enjoy the journey.
  •  I choose to use my body, mind and energies for the purpose of Self-Realization and unity with my Soul Self - and I appreciate this journey!
  • Life is a blessing, I am a miracle, and life keeps getting better and better.

With Love & Gratitude,

Food & Nutrition are Crucial to Lifelong Personal Power, Joy & Health

Food is Vitality and Life Force! ๐Ÿ’

  • How can you eat to get the best results possible from food?
  • Is proper, balanced nutrition important to you?

When we eat well we can give our best to life, and life gives us the berry best too :-). ๐Ÿ“

The latest Personal Power Life Coaching video discusses why nutrition is vitally important so you live at your best for the rest of your life - optimal body, mind and spirit harmonization. When we eat well and holistically we feel great inside and out: strong bones, muscles, mental performance, wellbeing, fantastic energy for all of life's activities, and a more pleasant life experience.

Why?

Healthful, conscious and aligned foods have the nutrients and prana, or Life Force, that is essential to harmonious chemical balance within our organism, including the constant neurotransmitter interplays in our brain and stomachs (both regions which control emotions, thoughts, mindset and energetic processes).

๐Ÿบ Key Points on Food from the Video:๐Ÿบ

  • - Being mindful, conscious and aware of the type and quality of foods you eat.

  • - Look at your current diet - How do you plan your food intake and choices? Is it balanced? Is it chosen intentionally, or haphazardly? Do you eat peacefully sitting down and enjoying each bite, or do you scarff it down in a rush barely remembering what you ate or if you enjoyed it? This aspect matters to the digestion and nutrient absorption.

  • - So many diets and recommendations in mainstream media. What's true? With the overflow of information, often contradictory (!), this means: Get to know your body, tune into your body's needs, appreciate it/yourself and do not compare yourself to others. What works for someone else does not necessarily apply to you.

  • - Do your own Food & Nutrition research, check different sources, read a couple of books, self-experiment and try different methods and approaches until to find something that suits you best. You will know you've struck gold when you feel good in body, mind and spirit - you have physical balance, good energy and are also able to eat in a manner that's sustainable for the rest of your life with relative ease and mindfulness.

  • - The key to long-term health is a daily practice of mindful food choices with balance and this doesn't mean always eating "healthy" foods. Balance means being finely attuned to your unique self, needs, lifestyle, health requirement, and goals and then eating in accordance with that which serves you the best, and this can vary each day in slight ways. Thus, do learn to know yourself and trust yourself to make the right choices on those days or moments when they don't fit "the plan".
  • - Finally, set your intention and identify what is most important to you in your long-term health and vitality. What is your main outcome? And what foods and eating style are most compatible with that outcome?

Wishing you a great day and happy, healthy and wholesome Life! ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿž๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Magic - Daily Gratitude

Thanks to a recent catch-up with a good friend who shared with me the wonders of the book "The Magic", by Rhonda Byrne (same author of The Secret), I've decided to follow the book again. I had purchased the book almost 2+ years ago, started reading and then somewhere along the way fell off its trail and it slipped into temporary oblivion.

Anyways, Practice 1 is to write your list of 10 things for which your are grateful, every day/morning.
Here is today - Day3:

  1. I am really grateful for this fresh, new day because it's a new opportunity at life, to enjoy time with the people a like and who love me, to be a cocreator, and to have fun and enjoy the life experience.
  2. I am so thankful for this morning's fasted swim; I loved it because it helps me to take rest from gym while also burning fat, boosting my metabolism and keeping my muscles activated.
  3. I so deeply appreciate the beauty of the morning time, especially today poolside; the radiant sun gives me energy and tans me, the birds are flying high and free, singing their bird songs, and the air is clean, fresh, new. It is peaceful and supporting; kind and caring; loving.
  4. I really appreciate my safe and convenient drive to work because I reached safely and in good time; i like the flow of things.
  5. I feel really grateful for the delicious decaf coffee I had; perfect taste, hot and nicely complementing my breakfast.
  6. I really appreciate the nice person who took my pic this morning in bathing suit because i was able to really see progress in my physical development, and to appreciate who I am much more.
  7. I totally love and am thankful for the safe, supportive, collegial and professional work environment where I work.
  8. I am so thankful for the free car parking my company offers; bc of it I have a secure place where I leave my car the whole day, for free.
  9. I am so thankful for my colleagues and all my peers at work, and everyone I interact with, bc everyone is a co-creator and our interactions gives us all more clarity and guidance on what we prefer (and don't prefer). There is a ton of valuable feedback in our daily interactions.
  10. I am so thankful for last night's amazing sleep bc today I had great, positive energy and exuberance; I appreciate being able to appreciate and how thinking about these marvelous things enhance my sense of living and quality of life.

What 10 things are you thankful for today? :-)

Hey Gorgeous, Hey Handsome!

Facebook generated this 2014 overview: https://www.facebook.com/arcila.jennifer

Looking it over, it's apparent 2014 was a year to develop and sow the seeds of RELATIONSHIPS, FRIENDSHIPS, FAITH AND SPIRITUALITY. There is certainly FITNESS overall as that is my main hobby...THank you, dearest loved ones, for being a part of this magnificent and joyous experience.
It's been a great year! Thanks for being a part of it.

In 2015 what will I do?
How will I focus?
What will I achieve?
How will I thrive, delight and inspire myself and others?

I will focus on LOVE, ease, wellbeing, taking it easy, and releasing resistance. I more aligned than ever to have and enjoy the physique of my dreams - a sexy, tone, lean, fit and healthy body which I enjoy with comfort, joy, convenience, satisfaction and total confidence.

I am no longer concerned with meeting the man of my dreams, because what I do know is that I am the woman of my dreams. If he lives in my dreams then how can he enter my physical reality?
Nah...The most important relationship is the one if have with GOD, Source Energy, myself and my Inner Being.

I care about how I feel, all is well and getting 'weller'.
Things are always working out for me.
I am always at the right place at the perfect time.
I support and encourage myself; words of self-criticim and judgement are no longer part of my psyche and vocabulary.
Complaints are a thing of the past, and I am solutions oriented.

I smile a bright, full, genuine and gorgeous smile.
I believe in the best of myself and support my greatest possibilities. My subconscious is Infinite Intelligence and I feed it empowering, caring and kind messages that support attainment of my heart's desires.
It's magnificent. I am a magician and intuitive being, I feel clairvoyant and wise beyond my years.
I know my purpose in life, I know why I am on earth, and I totally appreciate this time-space reality to be myself and the fullest expression of God in my unique vessel and energy.

I do what I love and I love what I do.
I am committed to my wellbeing and alignment, and that's just divine.
I am loving the supportive friendships, situations and experiences that enter my reality continuously.

A Divine Unfolding - poem by J.Arcila (22/12/14)

*A DIVINE UNFOLDING*

by J.Arcila

It's a brand new day, a brilliant, amazing, spectacular day.
Taking a breath - a resounding inhale - that's all I need to give thanks,
Thank you, God, for this new start and the night that came before,
Every sunrise is preceded by a darkness.
I love that darkness too, for in that space
I regenerate, recover, renew and reset my mind, body and soul.
is splendid, glorious and divine.
What makes it all go round?
A never-ending path of inquiry and oh my, what a miracle we can even ask!
and for a pause, it's utterly profound,
the meaning of life...this moment, and knowing there is choice
and let yourself flow with the rhythms of time,
along the current of this love-filled universe.

The moonlit darkness, and even in this New Moon phase,

Who made all of this? Who chose these natural qualities of the world?

In this innocent wonder-filled amazement time disintegrates

Power to Choose

Power to Choose a thought and let it flow,

So divine.

New Start 2014 - Sickness & Rebirth

Today is a brand new day…Wherever you are in the world, it was a new day or soon it is becoming a new day. A new birth, a fresh start, a reset to living this day in life.

Below are thoughts from a chat regarding the fact that I am home sick today recovering fully from a cold/flu. Winter season in Dubai also impacts the city's citizens, despite the overall pleasant and wonderful weather in the "Winter" months.
Seasonal changes are felt by our bodies, apparently, no matter where we may be.

Today is Thursday Jan. 9th 2014 - the first full week of the new year and I am home on sick leave as I visited the ER Last night. Visited City Hospital in Healthcare city and finished up at 1AM. Main issue was the worsening dry cough which I could no longer tolerate, esp since I live alone and having no one around for moral support seems to aggravate symptoms.
Being in the ER I became more aware and realized that there are so many maladies in life that affect us all. Some people have far worse situations than you or me. I am so grateful for the slight unwellness I have since it is curable and ordinary in the bigger scheme of things.

There are more things to appreciate from this experience:

Dear God, Dear Universe,
- Thank you because I live in a city with easy access to clean, hygienic and professional healthcare
- Thank you for my Health Insurance which is provided by my company and which allows me to pay a really minimal fee for several expensive treatments (Xray, MRI, blood tests, MD consultation, ER Visit, etc)
- Thank you for my car which reliably and comfortably allowed me to drive a long distance to see a medical professional to treat a bodily ailment at the moment I desired to do so.
- Thank you for the medicine that is easily available in the pharmacy which helps in the recovery process
- Thank you for the medicine which really makes a huge difference and helps to recover and sleep deeply
- Thank you because this experience of being alone in sickness shows me my true inner strength; I care about myself, I care about how I feel, I want to feel good, and I know the universe is helping me in meeting with the medical professionals who care about helping me get better.
- Thank you for this day of rest and the fact that I am able to rest when it is necessary and helpful
- Thank you for the kind and thoughtful friends who express concern for my wellbeing.
- Thank you bc I have many modalities at my disposal to feel better, strengthen my immune system and become stronger.

Further thoughts stemming from the whole thing:

I am feeling better I think bc I have peace of mind from having seen the doctor. Once I got home I no longer had the pesky, nagging dry cough and rather felt more relaxed. The doc prescribed the same antibiotic (Amoxycillin) that I had already started taking the night prior - so my self-prescription was accurate and luckily I have a box of unfinished Amoxyl from some previous moment.

When we r alone w/o anyone at home i.e. family, it sometimes makes health conditions a bit aggravated, perhaps bc of psychological aspect of being sick and vulnerable, and thus you may exhibit symptoms bit more strongly. The reason I say it is bc the whole day I was at work I didn't cough or feel major discomfort. HOwever, as soon as I set foot in my apt and was having my dinner I started coughing up - grrrrrr. That's why I went to the hospital - I wanted help and immediate relief from people instead of the small bottles of cough suppressants and expectorants which seemed to have diminished in effectiveness.

Anyhow, I went to ER (first in Ibn Battuta and then Healthcare City) and he said it seems like the cold/flu that is affecting many people right now
Perhaps people in UAE climate, we are no longer used to being strongly immune to weather changes. So any slight coldness is more of a 'hit' to the system.

Plus, I think I was training too much, 2hr+ per day during vacation and then continued when work resumed, waking up at 5:30am to train thinking that by ignoring my symptoms I would push it away into oblivion.

This strategy of ignoring does not seem to have worked.

So now I have forced rest, which is fine too and probably necessary.
I've noticed that during periods when I have been intense with my training it eventually culminates in a brief span where I get some cold which obliges me to rest and recover for 2-3 days, perhaps 1 week. It tends to help I suppose to reset the body, muscles, and to come back stronger than ever.

Ironically, sometimes it's harder to be calm and still, as opposed to just going at it (training, etc) intensely, pushing hard and beating yourself up. That's what gym/fitness obsession can do to you!

Well, today is a whole day of wellness and I will visit the sauna and my friends at the gym in hopes of further boosting my immune and nervous system. Sauna is considered to have curative properties, and perhaps I will RDV with like-minded friends at the gym, which is always pleasant, enjoyable and welcome to me.

There is always something positive to be gleaned from any situation, regardless of the circumstances. I am still eternally thankful for the blessings that life shares with me. I hope to continue growing, expanding and enriching this positive mindset and to eternally develop my strength and to deepen the relationship with my Inner Being.

Be your own best friend, and the rest will follow, line up, and align.

Love,
Jen <3 <3 <3
